Rui (class) logically is a concept regarding proximity and closeness&sbquo or inclusiveness and non-inclusiveness between two objects&sbquo Therefore&sbquo by discerning their inclusiveness&sbquo it is possible to vaguely determine whether they are in the same class or not. When the type&sbquo content&sbquo or both are inclusive&sbquo that act is called ruikeika. Simply put&sbquo it is a concept of establishing an experiential rule for ruikei (category) or ruikeika (categorization)&sbquo and also an axis of proximity. The opposite to ruikeika is ishusei (heterogeneity)&sbquo and leads naturally to the assessment of uniqueness&sbquo distinctiveness&sbquo and originality. There is an academic field of ruikei-gaku (typology) that studies types and categories&sbquo and it is also established into a theory called ruikei-ron (theory of typology). Ruikei-gaku or typology is the study of the characteristics of things and events as types&sbquo and can be said to be an organizational method for the concept of distinguishing from other things and events. Ruikei-ron or the theory of typology categorizes diverse facts and phenomena&sbquo and analyzes their qualitative changes by organizing&sbquo sorting&sbquo and comparing them. Moreover&sbquo when a category is recognized as a pattern&sbquo the analysis called categorical pattern analysis.Thiscategorical pattern analysis is a method to establish statistical analysis and attributional realms through the parametric combination of multiple data. Cluster analysis is one of such methods. The foundation of ruikei (category) had been established by sociologists and philosophers in their process of collecting and organizing the economy&sbquo religions&sbquo organizations as categories. The definition of ruikei (category) I believe&sbquo however&sbquo has been further expanded and concentrated due to computational methods using the computer. Is it possible to redefine everything from small changes in daily life to changes in expressions of mammoth systems and dynamics with design through the concept or logic of category? In other words&sbquo the question is whether design will be included in the various categorizations taking place today.
