The "window" is an on-screen expression and the most typical graphic user interface (GUI). In this methodology&sbquo small independent "screens" that are akin to "windows" are opened on the main operating screen and function to display pictures&sbquo images and text. In other words&sbquo because it actually looks like you are opening one on the screen. The designation "finder" too&sbquo is a metaphorical display format for on-screen operations. It has already become a generally established and universal format in the MacOS and Windows operating systems for the personal computer. While the design and function of the window will differ depending on the OS and application software&sbquo it generally has a title bar that is called the "menu bar. "The finder is an operational system that allows choice of directory through "pop-up" or "pop-down" menus that are accessed from the menu bar. Each window has buttons including those to adjust window-size and to close the window. User scan freely move the windows around the screen&sbquo change their size and overlap them. The degree to which directories can be made user-friendly through these abilities-movement format&sbquo size adjustment format&sbquo and overlap format-still now a hot topic. Regarding interface design&sbquo set-ups such as icons and scroll bars are already features of the window. A revolutionary design of the operational screen for the future will require a new display format&sbquo a meta-interface design to succeed the window metaphor. In particular&sbquo a GUI that would serve as a universal design is inevitable.
